Titebond Cold Press Veneer Glue

Titebond cold press for veneer glue is ideal for bonding wood veneers to flat surfaces including solids, particleboard, MDF, plywood and other porous materials. It provides a strong bond and offers bleed-through protection on open-grained wood veneers.

Directions

Surfaces must be clean and dry. Apply glue to the recommend coverage below. For consistent coverage, a mechanical spreader is recommanded. Press the substrates together at 100-250 psi. Press time may vary from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on environmental conditions, as well as the moisture content and type of materials utilized.

User tips

Stir product before use to ensure uniformity. Ideal for both small and large veneer applications. Substrate tolerances should not vary more than +/- 0,005". Variances larger than this should be sanded to bring within specification. Do not use when temperature, glue or materials are below 10ºC (50 ºF). Freezing may not affect the function of the product but may cause it to thicken. Stir vigorously to restore product to original form. Keep from freezing.
