Description:
Made from an acrylic emulsion, the Water-Based Stain Blocker seals the wood pores and makes the surface waterproof. It provides effective protection against stains and dirt. Perfect for both restoring antique furniture and finishing new pieces, it is especially suitable for softwoods such as pine, spruce, and basswood. Recommended for wooden surfaces exposed to water and household products, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

• Use: On raw, new, or restored furniture

Preparation:

• Use on clean, dry, grease-free wood
• If surface is waxed: remove wax with Les Anciens Ébénistes Wax Remover
• On raw or new wood: sand, dust off, and dry
• Optional: stain with Deco Stain (avoid water-based stains, as the product may dilute them)

Application:

1. Shake well before use.
2. Apply the first even coat with a brush, following the wood grain.
3. Let dry for approx. 1 h, then lightly sand with Steel Wool No.000. Dust off.
4. Apply a second coat and allow to dry for approx. 2 h.
