Description
These brown steel deck screws are covered with a ceramic coating increasing their protection against corrosion.
For decking, allow about 3.5 screws per square foot or 1.75 screws per linear foot (based on installation of 6" wide board).
Tips
During installation, make sure that the screw maintain its ceramic coating. If coating is damage while using a electric drill and the coating is flaking, it's recommended to change it. A screw with metal uncovered will develop corrosion.
