This sharpening stand offers a larger support surface than the universal stand. It is ideal for sharpening various rounded scrapers for woodturning. The SVD-110 Sharpening Stand works perfectly with specialty woodturning tools such as hollowing tools and curved planes. You can also use it for scrapers and cutting blades of woodturning tools, spokeshaves, and flathead screwdrivers.

The bore into which the sharpening rest is mounted features a special wedge profile that increases retention force by 250% compared to a round bore. You can instantly lock the sharpening rest at the desired angle. The unique TorLock design is patented by Tormek.
