The universal rest forms the basis of the Tormek wet sharpening system. The US-105 T-8 universal rest with micro adjustment has a trapezoidal thread with a flat outer face to prevent damage to the threads by the locking screw. The universal rest also features a fine adjustment for quickly and accurately adjusting the sharpening angle and depth.
