Composite Structural Lumber - Owens Corning

Description
Composite Structural Lumber - Owens Corning
Installs in the same way as a wooden structure.
Owens Corning Lumber is a fiberglass-reinforced composite designed primarily for decking and dock substructures
Its primary advantages include exceptional durability (it is rotproof, rustproof, and resistant to pests like termites), dimensional stability that resists thermal expansion, and a lightweight, easy-to-install profile that cuts and installs similarly to standard wood
Unlike traditional timber, this wood-free composite does not rot, split, or harbor mold. It can be fully submerged in fresh or saltwater without deteriorating.
Dimensional Stability: Reinforced with proprietary Advantex Fiberglas technology, the lumber experiences almost zero thermal expansion and contraction. This limits shifting and helps maintain level, gap-free surfaces over time
It requires no painting, sealing, or staining. The structural framing boards have impressive live-load capacities, making them ideal for heavy-duty coastal environments or high-traffic commercial applications
While traditional composites or steel can be cumbersome, Owens Corning structural lumber can be cut, drilled, and fastened using standard carpentry tools. It is flat and uniform for consistent builds
