The CMT 230.224.08 is an 8-inch Box and Finger Joint Blade Set manufactured by CMT Orange Tools. It is designed specifically for creating precise square-bottom grooves for fine joinery on both softwoods and hardwoods using a standard table saw

How it Works: Unlike traditional dado sets that require swapping out multiple chippers and shims to change sizes, this specialized set uses two identical blades to achieve two distinct joint sizes
1/4-Inch Grooves: Produced by mounting just a single blade on your table saw.
3/8-Inch Grooves: Produced by stacking both blades directly next to each other on the arbor without any special settings.
The package also includes three precision shims (two 0.004" and one 0.012") to micro-adjust the width of the cut if the blades lose slight thickness after being professionally re-sharpened. It is compatible with 10-inch table saws that are approved for dado blade use.
