The Baltic birch grade BB/CP is composed of a visible quality face and a non-visible quality face with many visible but tolerated repairs. Each piece is unique and the amount of visible repairs varies. It is often used for furniture structures, vehicle fittings or other projects.
The plywood of Baltic birch, also called multiple plywood has more sheets (or folds). The plywood is made entirely of cherry, a hard wood. These characteristics give it great rigidity and excellent stability. It is a material most suitable for making furniture, shelves, jigs and any other part that requires intensive use.
Plywood is therefore of higher quality and much more rigid than traditional plywood, which is generally made from sheets of soft wood (such as spruce, poplar, pine or fir).
The plywood made of Baltic birch comes from northern Europe or the Baltic countries.
