 Forstner Bits 1/4" to 4" Diameter - Dimar

Forstner style drill bit with 5/16" or 7/16" shank, depending on drilling diameter, to prevent slippage.. Made of High carbon steel. Forstner bits are designed to drill flat bottom or through holes cleanly in end grain, thin stock, veneers and regular stock. Also use to drill in hardwood, softwood, MDF, plywood and melamine. This bit will not move off center through usual grain or knots. Its accuracy and clean hole is ideal for turning projects.

Ideal for flat bottom holes, pocket holes, overlapping holes. They enlarge existing holes with ease and can bore any arc of a circle.
