Penofin exterior finish oil for exotic hardwood

It's the ideal product to apply on Ipé and Garapa. Penofin exterior finish for cedar is formulated to enhance and protect the natural beauty of wood and to prevent discoloration from the sun's ultraviolet rays. Penofin resists stains and retards nail bleed. Recommanded decks, siding, fences, log homes and furnitures. Low VOC content : less than 250 grams per liter.

Step 1
Sand the surface manually with a 80 grit sandpaper for cedar, of a 60 grit sandpaper for ipe and garapa.

Step 2
Shake well before use. Do not thin of blend with other products.

Step 3
The surface must be clean and dry before application. Apply one coat with a brush on 2 or 3 boards and then wipe off the excess with a lint-free cloth about 10 minutes later otherwise the excess will accumulate on the surface and give a sticky finish.

Step 4
You must wait at least 48 hours after application before walking and using the surface or replace objects on it.

Note : Do not over apply. Don't prepare surface with a steel wool.

Maintenance

Clean up the surface using Sansin 2 steps Wood Wash.

Coverage

Will vary from 175 to 300 square feet per gallon (3,78 L) when you apply on smooth surfaces. Will vary from 125 to 200 square feet per gallon (3,78 L) when you apply on rough surfaces. Depends also on the wood texture, moisture content, wood species, humidity and method of application.
