Description

Red Cedar Selection patio 2'' nominal (1 1/2'' actual)

Often chosen for its exceptional characteristics, western red cedar is one of the most popular woods in Quebec. Our Selection Patio cedar is produced only from second generation growth logs of superior quality. It is considered THE benchmark of choice in terms of quality for terraces. While it adds a natural touch to your home, we also choose it for its ease of working, its stability, its resistance to mold and Quebec temperatures.

Ideal for all your projects

Although chosen for its superior lifespan, Western Red Cedar has many qualities that make it a product of choice for all your projects. It is distinguished in particular by a high resistance to warping, twisting or cracking. Outdoors, it resists mold, insects and bad weather. Easy to maintain, it stands out as a 100% natural material that will give you many years of performance

For interior projects, in addition to its rich and warm appearance, it is chosen for its acoustic properties which dampen the ambient sound and increase the comfort of the occupants.

Types of projects

Western red cedar is very versatile. Its various characteristics appreciated by consumers make it a wood species used both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, it is used in paneling or moldings. Its ease of maintenance, its acoustic properties and its rich appearance contribute to creating a welcoming and warm environment for the occupants.

There are even more projects outside. Fences, terraces, solariums, pergolas, patios, siding, beams and other installations that will complete the style of your home for years.

Easy finishing

Western red cedar can be stained and painted without difficulty. With an appropriate finish and maintenance, your terrace will keep its shine for many years

High weather resistance

Western red cedar is one of the few species of wood that is impregnated with its own preservative oils which allows it to offer remarkable resistance to decay and insects.

Requiring very little maintenance, this wood species is chosen for exterior projects because of its high resistance to twisting, cracking and warping.

An ecological product

Our Western Red Cedar is produced only from premium, second generation growth logs. It is a cultivated, natural and untreated product and is 100% recyclable and renewable. In addition, our wood complies with FSC and PEFC standards which ensure sustainable forest management.

FAQs

Question 1

Question 2

Question 3

Question 4
