TurnMaster Excelsior Teardrop Inside-Outside Cutter - Sorby

Titanium Nitride (TiN) Plasma Bonded Coating teardrop inside / outside cutter. Perfect for scraping or shear scraping inside and outside. TiN is bonded onto quality HSS. It provides the same advantages as HSS whilst enhancing the cutting life close to that of tungsten carbide. Use the same traditional sharpening equipment used for HSS. Sharpens to 0.12-0.2 microns. Harness of coating up to 85RC. Material is Titanium Nitride on M2 HSS. Can be sharpening using modern sharpening machines such as ProEdge and bench grinders.
